BabyHands Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 I'm after a hard case for my Ibby Sr505, but have heard that the headstock shape/angle means it doesn't properly fit in the 'flat' style cases which generally cater for fender type headstocks. Anyone got experience of this, or recommendations for a case that won't break the bank? Quote
Sven Posted January 26, 2017 Posted January 26, 2017 I've got an SRX (same shape and dimensions as an SR) and it perfectly fits in a softcase I bought from gear4music: http://www.gear4music.com/Guitar-and-Bass/Bass-Guitar-Foam-Case-by-Gear4music/C87 Its cheaper than a hardcase, way lighter, and the angled headstock of the bass fits perfectly. hairychris Posted January 30, 2017 Posted January 30, 2017 (edited) I have an older SR505 and it fits in a standard Hiscox bass case without any problems. Edited January 30, 2017 by hairychris Quote
