Rocker Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 Recently I decided to 'ease off' on contributing to internet forums and to use that time to try to learn guitar and bass. I stuck to this policy for a few weeks and it works. I think I am a bit better on both instruments than I was around Christmas. There are lots of pretty good videos on YT showing 'how to play' named songs. I positioned my Pignose guitar amp and Blackstar Fly Bass on the computer shelf, just plug in and away I go. So obvious but it required discipline and determination to start doing it. Quote
Ashweb Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 (edited) Procrastination? Can I get back to you on that? Rocker is right, sometimes the hardest thing about practice is starting off. Edit: Name changed (oops) Edited January 24, 2017 by Ashweb Quote
discreet Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 (edited) It's true, the more you play the better you get. There are some good players on YT, but I've found a lot of the covers to be wildly inaccurate. IMHO, YMMV etc. Edited January 24, 2017 by discreet Quote
