Guest Jecklin
My next performance as Thomas Stone (rather than Jecklin) is in an incredible venue in Lewisham in South East London. 1 Silver Road, a disused water tank! A duo of brass, found sounds and recycled sonic wonders by Guido Spannocchi & Saul Eisenberg. Thomas Stone Solo: Exploring themes of ritual, presence and memory Thomas creates his immersive soundscapes using contrabassoon, samplers and activated percussion. Blurring the boundaries between electronic and acoustic sources to generate moments of austere, fragile beauty from simple motifs, long tones, gentle dissonances and cyclic pulses. Doors and Bar from 7:30pm Tickets £6[/center] This is an event for fans of electroacoustic soundscapes, drones, improv' and ambient styled music. The duo and I will not be using a PA to take advantage of the amazing acoustic in the space. Guest Jecklin
This was an unbelievably good space to play in! ambient
Brilliant, I'd love to have been there. So sad that they're closing it down as a performance space.
