My Fusion 550 has arrived!

I realise there's been quite a lot of speculation over the new fusion amp from GK, even now I can't find much about it online. Anyhoo, I got mine last week and have to say it's absolutely amazing! Better than any valve amp i've used and packs so much punch! Would highly recommend to anyone considering purchasing a new head

It is just a humble opinion but I don't think that GK have ever bettered the 400/800RB (sorry 700/1000/1001/2001 owners ) and I'd be interested to hear how this stacked up against some of the competition.

there is a voicing option on the RB700 head that allows it to sound like the 800RB.

Seriously, how long have they been delayed? It must be two or three years ago now since I put aside money to get one of these. I've moved on since then obviously

Looks cool. Like the idea of the motorised pots. Ampeg did an amp a few years back that had 4 different settings of gains and eq that could be saved but it never caught on. I thought it was a really good idea (but not good enough to actually buy one )
