ovialexm1
I have for sale a beautiful refinished and refreted by a profesional luthier SD Curlee 4 string bass made in USA in 1979-1980. All components are original. Bass has Dimarzio P pickups, Glover titan tuners, maple neck and fingerboard, mahogany or hawaiian koa body wood and 32½" medium scale neck. I paid 450 euros for refret, refinish and painting the bass. Bass is in mint condition and comes with hardcase. Is the best ever "precision sound" I heard, very agresive and punchy tone. The neck is going through the middle of body up to the bridge. ONLY 3.8 KG !!! Pics with my bass here: https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1111661675628573&id=636930353101710 More information about SD Curlee basses here: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/S._D._Curlee About SD Curlee I would like tell you those are rare basses and the luthier who built them (Randy Curlee) is death for some years. All was built handmade and my bass is from 1979-1980. Another SD Curlee company was made recently in 2013 and to build a bass like mine cost $2,500. If you would like you can read online more here about SD Curlee and history: http://www.birdsongguitars.com/sd-curlee-info/ This bass is gold! 😃 Edited May 13, 2017 by ovialexm1

Henrythe8
Wow. Can you really confirm the 3.8kg ? Curlees are on the heavy side, and if the body is Koa, it's not light either... Cheers,
