Due to recent house move--lack of space--selling my German Double Bass. Two piece flat back of Maple. Spruce top.
Circa from 1880's. Written valuation.
Bought from a classical player approx. 30 years ago. Set up for me by Roger Dawson many years ago. The bass has had repairs before I bought it. Due to it's age it has plenty of marks but pretty solid. Currently fitted with Innovation strings for that 'Older jazz sound'. Fitted with Ehrlund pickup and pre-amp. Great sound. Mooradian padded gig bag.
