Guinness21
Does anybody know anything about raynaud's disease? I have it and it's a pain whenever we're playing in a cold venue or outdoors. A mate said I should get some leather fingerless gloves, would they help? Cheers

Kevsy71
I have Raynaud's on 3 fingers and wear these: http://www.healthandcare.co.uk/raynauds-disease-and-raynauds-syndrome/raynauds-disease-silver-gloves.html Work a treat, have played five-a-side in the freezing cold and they are a real improvement. Wear them on the way to gig/practice and then you should hopefully find the Raynaud's has not taken hold before you start playing. Good luck! Mykesbass
I suffer, and have found this year that keeping my core temperature warmer (I've been wearing jumpers and a scarf in the office, something I'd never have done before) has really helped. The other bit that I don't know whether it is psychosomatic or not, but seems to work for me, is black peppercorn oil. Available from Holland and Barrat. Mix with a base oil and massage into your hands.

When I told my doctor that I had been wearing fingerless gloves to try and keep my hands warm, he shook his head your doing it wrong, what you really need is buy some gloveless fingers to keep your fingertips warm.
