jimbartlett
My much loved 2001 Gibson Thunderbird is up for sale. I have owned this for the last 10 years and it has never let me down. It comes in a Gibson USA fitted case, has strap locks installed and I have installed a Hipshot Supertone bridge but will also the original three point. There are one or two MINOR dings (you'd have to hunt them down too) but apart from that, she is in great condition and sounds amazing with the expected Gibson USA T-Bird growl! The case handle broke about a year ago and I had a new leather on hand made in the USA to replace it. I have not got around to fitting it but will obviously include this in the sale too (it cost roughly £40 and is real tan leather). Price does not include shipping but I have no problem getting it wrapped up and posted to you (I'll have to check the cost). The bass is located near Dartford in Kent if you prefer to collect or I can meet within a 50 mile radius if that helps you out? jimbartlett
Thanks mate! It really is a lovely bass. Unlike the rumours, no neck dive at all. The Hipshot also makes a huge difference. The price is actually £850 but it says £900 in the title so ignore that, it's £850.
