Cabal
I'm sure this topic comes up from time to time, but which musical instrument insurer do we recommended? Never bothered before, but i just realised my gear's worth a small fortune. I'm just looking to insure within the home really, not likely to have all my stuff together in one place anywhere else. Anyone had good or bad experiences trying to make a claim? Cheers, Jake M Edited October 20, 2008 by Jake_M

ezbass
Check with your home contents provider. You may find that you have personal possesions (up to a specified figure per item) already covered away from the home. Any items over their limit can be added as a specific item for a small premium. I used to use the hugely overpriced Musicguard policy for years until I got wise. Same applies for a comprehensive car policy (for when transporting), but again check with your provider.
