Not sure if this has been on a thread before -

It's truly horrible! I feel sick looking at it!

Looks a little unorthadox, but Brian Eastwood makes exceptional instruments.

He's also really good at making other manufacturer's sh*t ones sing just a little bit more. :)

I agree. I hate all Jazz basses.

That along with the Baz Extravaganza Punk Rock Bass are the only Fender-esque instruments I'd consider playing.

<rushed off to google a Baz Extravaganza Punk Rock Bass but found nothing> :(

Unfortunately the Bas Extravaganza site is no more and most of the images including that of the Punk Rock Bass have gone with it. The bass itself used to be owned by someone who posted on here occasionally, but I haven't seen them about for some years now.

Imagine a Fender Precision battered to within an inch of total destruction, but still (just) playable.

You should never leave a jazz bass in a car during the summer without the windows open a little....

Imagination is not needed, just search That Ebay for "relic precision" or "relic bass". Oh dammit, there aren't any sander-and-blowtorch ones on that search today...

That's the one! Did you save any of the other photos?
[/quote]
No. Wasn't sure if this was the one you meant. I can't believe it was still playable in that condition.

Apart from the missing 13th fret and the rather bent 14th, I don't think that there is anything that would actually get in the way of being able to play it.

It did come up for sale a few years ago, but the price was too high for me to buy essentially as a joke.

This is why I can't take anything BRX says seriously...

You don't need to take anything I say seriously. But if I have made you think, then my work here is done.

It'd be cheaper to just go on stage wearing a t-shirt saying "Woo! I'm really mad and wacky, me!".

Would give precisely the same message.
