Forgot to say, I started playing after several years and at the moment I've got one of these

They sound great and you can plug in another audio source to play along. I find it is a more practical way to play at home for me, and I saw a second one sold on Gumtree in London the other day

I did try an Eden EC10 yesterday with a P bass. It was OK, but I think will struggle against some of the guitars I practice with.

I'm now thinking of a small cab and micro head unit. That way it'll be more flexible for my needs.
