The part right at the end of the 'live' version of Give It Up Or Turnit A Loose where he reintroduces the groove is one of my favourite bits of music ever.

Live affirmigly groovy.

Agree totally, when JB calls Clyde and Bootsy back in, magic stuff!

He was a fantastic drummer, as were many more of JB's stick men.

I can remember trying (miserably) to play along to old James Brown grooves when I was learning to play drums as a teenager. Fantastic stuff!

RIP Clyde.
