Whose band have been together the longest?

So in it's current line up, whose band has been together the longest?

BC members of course, otherwise we'll probably be saying The 'Stones

My band in it's current line up have been together IIRC for 7 years.

Just over a year in it's revolving format I think and that's on a knife edge, lol.

I once joined a blues band as a temporary member as the proper guy had cancer and they had gigs booked, it wasn't my thing at all, about seven years later I realised I was the only original member!

Yup!
Though we did used to have another guitar player (only Chris Hasket!) - but he went back to the US (we didn't need 3, and besides, he was too good for us!), and a keyboard player (Jay Rayner!), who went on to do less musical stuff.
But we've got the original other 2 geetars, me, singer and drummer.

I don't think that any band I've been a member of has lasted more than a couple of years without a line-up change.

My band had its first gig a month before my daughter was born. She's going to be 23 in May.

My lot (Yellowhouse) have been together for about 17 years - no original members left though, longest serving member is the singer at 13 years.

I've recently started playing with the Cartoon Heroes from Swindon, they've been together 20 years plus. I believe the the other three are original members, apparently their bass player passed away.

My current band was formed in Aug/Sep 2013 and still the same line-up. If any of us left I doubt we`d look for any replacements, probably call it a day.

4/5 of current lineup been together last 32 years (since 1985)
the other 1/5 joined in 2009

After a 7 year break (longer if you don't count silly projects) I picked up again in 2009 and still play with the same people I met then

My band, Maple Road has been together for 12 years. I've been with them for the last 5 years. We still have the 2 founding members.

I'm actually only the 2nd bass player. However, we have been through several drummers.

I have friends whose band has been going since the late 70s. While the line up hasn't been the same throughout, of the current trio, the guitarist and keyboard player are from the original line up (although the keyboard player left in the mid 80s and rejoined about 10 years later). The current singer has been in the band since 1980.
