It works brilliantly, mine are actually 31.5" scale!

Here's some samples of my Salace, with some low B thrown in >>

And here's some samples of my AJR Guitar Mods rebuilt 6 string fretless, same scale length >>

What are you planning/plotting?

Well, my Eastwood Backlund Rocker Box was delivered Friday and I have to say this thing is gorgeous.

Fit and finish is impeccable. Frets are flawless. Neck is flat. No sharp fret ends. No fret buzz.

Very solid feel to it. Feels similar to my Gretsch Thunder Jet as far as holding it and playing it, especially the poly finish on maple. Maple Fretboard has a satin finish. Back of neck is poly.

Has a good low growl on the E string
Really is 32” scale

Master tone control doesn’t seem to do much for either pup. Pups are dead silent.

Based on my Health-O-Meter analog bath scale it appears to be 9 lbs.

HSC is very nice. Probably made for Eastwood by TKL I’m guessing

These are early first impressions so more later :)

Looks like a Rickenbacker made by someone with taste.

That looks a beauty.

Just had a look at their range; quite quirky some.

I think I could live contentedly with with a Backlund and a Klira.

The finish looks very high gloss and prices not super-high.

I've been muchly Insta-funkin' with my medium scale flock of delights of late so thought I'd share the splendour on this most excellent of 32"-long threads...

Warwick Rockbass 5 String (heavily customised vibes) + some stanky synth pedal action - open low B here too for the medium-scale naysayers 🙌

Maruszczyk Elwood Absolution Custom 5 String + loop pedal fun - my first foray into E-C tuning 😬

Maruszczyk Jake 4 - off the shelf variety + rockin' out to pop stars doing rock - classic P with flats & pick o'clock

🤘

And here is mine, a lovely Alembic Spoiler with a flamed koa top, now fitted with Alembic CX3-45L strings (not on this photo). I love this bass !

My Frankenstein 'Honcore' - the neck was a magnificent maple neck from an med scale 80s Hondo II H1015 that, as a whole, was massively too heavy for me to wear.  The body donor was a very lightweight Encore double cutaway short scale with a P style humbucker.  I had the two spliced together with the necessary adjustments made, Wilkinson bridge, Entwistle PBXN pup.  3.1kg.   Just about to get a Fender Custom 62 pup put inside to perhaps darken and warm the tone a little.  Real fun thing that turned out better than I hoped - sounds like a Precision but looks nothing like one - and has been promoted up the ranks from home practice to back-up to occasional gigging bass. :)

Addendum - I swapped the pickup for the Fender custom 62 this morning.  Yum.  Not as brittle as the Entwistle with more depth and width, more organic in character.  I can see why folks recommend them so highly!  :) Worth every penny.
