JohnDaBass
So Stu's back home with a lovely new dual action Truss Rod, a 50 year old rosewood fret board, satin finish neck and huge chunk love bestowed on it by probably one of the best Luthiers in the UK Jon Shuker himself. The whole horror story is on the Repair thread I'm just so grateful to Jon Shuker for the fantastic standard of craftsmanship he delivered in bringing by US Stu Hamm back to life. Top man!!

MacDaddy
All my Shuker's are 32" to the nut. Slightly longer to the end of the frets for the low D.

walshy
Picked this up today for a very modest sum of money. Didn’t go to buy it, it just kinda happened and was added to a deal. I must say, even with crappy old strings on it sure sounds nice!

molan
I have a, pretty rare, JV series Precision with a 32” scale. Strung it with a set of TI flats and it’s a lot of fun to play!

It's a little creamier coloured than it looks in most of the pics. The inner parts of the cutaways have really darkened in colour. I had a feeling this might clean off but I quite like the aged look 😁 From the serial number it's a classic JV era '82 - '84. I seem to remember reading these were Japanese domestic market only but no idea if that's actually true!
Dazed
Is the body standard sized @molan? Just a shorter neck? Great dark fretboard, almost black!

Body is smaller as well - both in terms on length and width. I think this keeps everything looking in a good general perspective. Sometimes you see a shorter scale neck on a regular body and it can look a little 'wrong'. The fretboard is lovely. In a crazily good condition as well, not a mark on it! It has a surprising amount of tonal variation as well. Really deep & thumpy with the tone backed off but bright and poppy with it on full. 2

fretmeister
Has anyone got a Sandberg 32? They don't really advertise it, but they will make every model as a 32 and the additional custom cost is the same as for a 35 scale of anything. I saw someone on facebook with a 32 scale VS4 (P bass type) and it looked fantastic. I'm so comfy on 32 scale that I'm giving serious thought to selling off the 34 scale stuff and getting a Sandberg built.
