EBS_freak
Here's my go to setup. Front of house : GB Spitfire -> Shure ULX-D -> Kemper Profiler + Remote (running Chandler/SSL channel strip profile) -> DL32R (FOH) (optional with Waves Multirack if I can be bothered) -> RCF945/8004 Monitor : GB Spitfire -> Shure ULX-D -> Kemper Profiler + Remote (running Chandler/SSL channel strip profile) -> DL32R (FOH) -> DL32R (MON) -> Shure PSM900 -> JH Audio Roxannes Wireless mic follows a similar route... Front of house: Sennheiser EW500 945 -> DL32R (FOH)..... Monitor : (Talkback mic (for over band inears)) Sennheiser 935 with Optogate -> DL32R (MON)... For gigs that warrant it, switch out the DL32R (FOH) for GLD80 No traditional amps here. Not needed! And never been happier! Heres my dep setup (where no inears are available) GB Spitfire -> Shure ULX-D -> Kemper Profiler -> 1 or 2 EBS210 or GB Spitfire -> EBS HD350 > 1 or 2 EBS210
oldbass
Well after yrs of lugging the weight around and spending way too much on vintage stuff I didn't really need I have finally come to my very happy and satisfied senses. Lightweight Squier Vintage Mod P, P/J basses. Two stacked Fender Rumble 100v3 combos with line outs. The whole lot weighs next to nothing, looks pretty, and sounds good. LeftyJ
Basses: a Warwick Streamer LX5 or Ellio Martina Forza 5. Stopped bringing my Stingray 5 to gigs a few years ago. Traded it for a Status S2 Classic 5-string on this site last summer, but haven't had the pleasure of gigging with it yet as my band is lacking two important members atm. I've got several other basses, but the ones mentioned here are the ones I take to rehearsals and hopefully gigs again at some point. FX: none. I have several pedals, especially overdrives and distortions (including the mighty B7K) but live I've always favoured plug & play. Drive comes from my preamp. Amps: depending on the gig, but for the last couple of gigs with my band I brought a 4HE case with my wireless (Line6), my in-ear monitoring set (Sennheiser EW300 IEM G3), two Ampeg tube preamps (SVP-CL and SVP-PRO) and a rack tuner (Korg DTR1000), with the SVP-PRO being used and the CL as back-up. I go straight into the front desk, with an additional mono out to an EBS NeoDrome 12 serving as a floor monitor just for my bass.

fretmeister
My 2 main basses are a Marleaux Consat Custom 5 string and a much modified Stingray 5. At the moment it has an Aguilar 60s wind precision pickup in it. And it’s passive. I have 2 rigs really. Easy transport rig is L6 G70 wireless > Cali compact bass compressor > Digitech bass synth wah > Darkglass Alpha Omega or B3K V2 depending on the tunes. that goes into either a Tecamp Puma 300 or a Darkglass M900 and then to either 1 or 2 Barefaced One10 cabs. Heavy rig is a racked up Helix rack and foot controller. Sometimes used with just the power section of the above heads and cabs and sometimes into a Yamaha DXR10 frfr powered cab. Or straight into the PA. Or into all of it at once and still using the USB to record it all. Im not listing out the details of all the patches I have in the Helix as I’d be here all night! Leads - always used to be Planet Waves but after going through a load (despite careful handling) I'm now using two no-namers I've acquired from god knows where & have to say they're rock solid. franzbassist
I play Franz basses, a Sirius DC 5 fretted and Sirius fretless 5, and also gig a Thomann (by Hora) slimline upright. As I double fretless and upright at virtually every gig I run them into a Bassbone OD, which then goes into my rig which is the fabulous Markbass CMD Super Combo K1, to which I add the matching Markbass TRV123 cab too when I want the full 1000 watts. I also have a Blackline 250 for backup. OBBM cables, Harvest straps, La Bella and Newtone strings, Mono bags complete the setup. This picture shows a pedalboard from last summer, but that's all been replaced by the simpler yet more versatile Bassbone.
