Basses: Godlyke Disciple, ESP 400 Series Jazz, Alembic Orion, Warwick SS1, Bacchus 24, Warwick Streamer JM fretless

Amp: Ashdown ABM300 (first series) into an ABM 210 Compact and 115 Compact

Pedals: Boss TU2

As good as the Ashdown has been to me, I am tempted to pick up a smaller, lighter head to replace it

For local gigs I tend to use my 66 Precision with my 72 as a back up. I also use my A/E fretless in 3 of the songs.

When I'm touring I'll use my two Japanese reissue Precisions (the PB75US's) instead of the oldies but retain the A/E. These basses have Kent Armstrong Vintage pickups on them. The A/E has a Cafe Walter buffer.

The two fretted basses are on one lead and the A/E is on another.

The two leads are plugged into a Lehle switcher (on my pedalboard) so that I can use the trim pots on the Lehle to match the outputs.

The two positions of the footswitches on the Lehle allow me to send the signal to either a tuner (on the pedalbord too) or to the amp rack.

Before that the signal goes through a Palmer buffer/splitter. I don't use the splitter capability (only using the one amp pretty much all the time) but I use the buffer as I have a total of around 12 metres of cable between the bass and the amp. The pedalboard is sited in front of my guitar stand so I can switch outputs at the same time as changing basses and I don't have masses of cable all over the stage.

From the buffer the signal goes to the amp rack into a Behringer rack tuner. The reason for two tuners is that I may want to use my Boogie Bass 400 which is in a different rack and so that would mean the Behringer wasn't available.

From there it goes into the M-Pulse 600 (on passive setting) and then into the two Subway 1x15s.

Ric 4003s is my main bass at the mo, I take a US or Jap p bass with me also as it’s the law, left handed.

my only amp set up is a Markbass Cmd 1x12 combo with an Aguilar 1x12 cab (heavy) sat underneath it, I’ve also been using a tech21 vt bass driver that I’ve decided that I don’t need anymore

I like quick and easy.

My Barefaced One10 sits on a Gorilla speaker stand at ear level facing me right behind the main PA speakers on the right hand side as this is where I stand. My Gallien Krueger MB500 is attached to the cab permanently using high bond tape and my Line6 G30 receiver is attached the same way to the top of the amp.

Also attached onto the stand are a clip on fan and bicycle water bottle holder so I can get a drink in a hurry during breaks.

I hate messy cables so I have several pieces of velcro wrapped around the stand that go round the cables at various points from the amp down to the floor to keep things neat.

My bass sits on a Hercules stand right behind me when I'm not playing.

I can set up and strip down in less than 5 minutes each way and it's only one trip to the car with a combined weight of around 17kg

Here we have my normal bass rig - a Hartke HA3500 power amp, coupled with a 2x10 and 4x10 cabinet.
This being taken at our Sunday jam night, my Fender Champion 100w guitar amp is also pictured.

My GK rig just sold so at this point in time -

2 Fender fretted 4 strings - both badass/Duncan QP equipped. One's my trusty 73 sunburst that's now aging better than I am and wears RS66's and the other a Japanese 54 reish in a fetching shade of Blue Flower sporting cheap Chinese flats.

Peavey ( never thought I'd be saying that ) minimax chosen over similar animals with the same power and facilities because of the built in tuner.

Barefaced One10 chosen because of a combination of creaking knees ( excuse - it's idleness. I didn't do 30 years in local government to start breaking sweat now !!) and a Peugeot 206cc's tiny boot.

Both housed in a padded Cajon bag thanks to a tip on here.

At the moment I'm on a sabbatical from gigging for only the second time in nearly 40 years but it probably won't last very long so I'll probably be adding a second One10 or a Midget at some point , most likely depending what's on sale here and the requirements of whatever bunch of unfortunates are desperate enough to put up with a crabby old sod like me telling them what to do.

Padded bag (found in a skip behind a pub) full of cables and bits. AKG mic ,  mic stand mounted beer holder , pink tambourine , Tom Clancy novel ( I pick it up and pretend to read it to make a point when guitar solos over extend !!) , inoffensive T shirt to change into in case we show up and it's a bit posh (unlikely) or full of knuckle draggers.

I could have done it when I had two identical Hartke setups for a while up to last year.
The two rigs wouldn't balance tonally.
If I combine all the rigs, I get a really full range sound at low volume.
