I wanted it so badly but I know deep down I don't want a bass so good looking that I'd worry about it, my bass is in vans and on concrete floors all time. It really is a beauty. Also could I be really cheeky and just put here so that the new owner can see it, if the Fdeck is not needed by the new owner I would happily buy it from them. Thanks to all the well-wishers and especially Artisan for making the trade negotiations a breeze. Maude-I have a preamp, but would like to try the Fdeck first to see how it compares-will give you a shout back in a few weeks time.
