Made in California, not a Ray 34,SUB, Sterling by Musicman, 'OLP' or any other of the cheaper Musicman ranges.
I will include non original hardcase.
3 band EQ active preamp on board.
Ceramic Pickup
Series / Single Coil+Phantom / Parallel, selector switch
Light at just under 8.5lb.

I took this as a swap as a friend wanted my Jazz.
Good condition for 18 years old, 3 proper little chips, some dints and scratches, but you can't see any of that from a few feet away.

Fender US Precision (preferably post 2012).
OR even better one of the Mex Mike Dirnt Road Worn Series (the £1200 new version).

Some interesting ideas on what constitutes a Fender Precision

Must admit though, I found it VERY difficult turning down an ACG Recurve Custom with the most glorious fretboard I've ever seen.
Another day, that would have been a very different response.
