Les
Chucked a squire jazz neck on a squire P and am pleased with it as the P neck is just a bit fat for me and I use it at my jamnght were I'm the house bass player. Have another P that sounds great but the neck is half a bassball bat. I don't need this bass but I like tinkering so I don't mind chucking 30 quid at a neck. Would I be better chucking my 30 on the fire ? Or are they playable ? Ta Les

tom1946
Where can you get a neck for 30 shimblats?
kodiakblair
Tom There's this outfit on eBay.I keep thinking about putting a leftie neck on a Rh Foundation body. £30's not too bad if it goes awry. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/252674649141?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
SpondonBassed
I like your thinking. It leaves more cash available for kebabs.

bertbass
You could spend a lot less quids and buy some glasspaper and re-shape the baseball bat more to your liking.

Geek99
Would you also need to shorten the lower frets? I'd just see what happens with £

police squad
I bought a fretless neck from EYparts in hong kong. It was about 90 dollars I think and it's actually, suprisingly, very good. I use it on my 'Sting' Red Fretless P bass that I built
davehux
I've bought 2 of these as maple board Jazz necks - one I 'remodelled' into a Telebass headstock to go with a 51P body, and one is stock. Both perfectly playable necks with a skunk stripe and working truss rod. Not had any problems at all with them.
bertbass
You may well get away with no duties. I've ordered many things from china costings the same as this or more and they've turned up on my door step just like normal post with no extra to pay. BobVbass
I bought one just after Xmas when I was thinking of making a bass - it's ok actually nice rosewood and profile - nut looks a bit cheap and the heel profile isn't quite a perfect match for a Fender socket but nothing a bit of sanding wouldn't sort. Never actually tried it on a body as I gave up trying to make a guitar but looks alright to me. I expect it will be appearing in the assorted musical bits for sale shortly
