Rocker
My Aria bass has standard sized strap buttons fitted. A heavy strap is held on, barely, by Fender rubber retainers, so I need one large strap button (chrome). Anyone know of a supplier? Thanks
Telebass
Straplocks, always. Just makes more sense.
fretmeister
Or use a fender headstock string retainer. That's what PRS use.

MuddBass
These are also worth a look too http://www.jhs.co.uk/brands/diago/diago-twistlocks-straplocks-gold
Jono Bolton
I used these on an old bass, no chance of the strap coming off once the rubber washer was on: http://www.axesrus.co.uk/Jumbo-Vintage-Style-Strap-Pins-p/he013.htm Depends on the style of bass, they suited my O Bass both might not look right on other styles. yorks5stringer
Just a quick on-topic mention of strap locks, have some on my jazzbass and I thought they seemed a bit loose yesterday. Gave them a wiggle and the pegs into the bass itself were both loose, so had to tighten the screws.... No point in having the peg pull out of the Bass and it end on the floor. Check your screws! Geek99
if you need it really big, could you use a headstock string retainer. ? same screw should fit through
Naetharu
Much easier to go with locks I would think. You can get top quality ones for well under £20.00 and they'll keep you safe and happy for a long time.
