Horizontalste Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 I'm not sure if it qualifies as Hip-Hop but I'm throwing "Heavy Rhyme Experience" by The Brand New Heavies in the mix. Absolutely fantastic album from start to finish & featuring some big hitters, oh & the bass won't disappoint either. Quote

Guest Jecklin Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 I listened to a fair bit of hip hop fromy early to mid teens. Different facets to the genre, here are some jumping off points - Darker stuff - Cypress hill - temple of boom and black su day. House of pain - same as it ever was. Wu Tang Clan - 36 chambers Lighter stuff - Beastie boys - Paul's boutique and I'll communication. De la soul 3 feet high and rising Jurassic 5 The roots Quote
Guest Jecklin Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 Also for more bonkers stuff have a look at Dr.Octagon (alias for Kool Keith) and Handsome Boy Modelling School (kool Keith's producer Dan the Automator) Quote
