After 17 years of bass monogamy, and significant birthday passed, Edna has doubled the herd. I always thought my ASAT (Edith) did a suitable P bass sound if necessary but after years of membership here and seemingly each new bass player I discover being a major precision user, I gave in.

She arrived, fresh from the Great British Bass Lounge yesterday (great to deal with) and was straight off to our weekly rehearsal. Set the gain up on the amp and started playing, flat eq, a little bit of VPF to tame the volume for the small room and everybody's happy. Now I know what the fuss is about, it felt like coming home for a bassist. Usual fantastic G&L build quality, action and neck feel amazing although ever so slightly different to what I'm used to. The tone pot is surprisingly effective, never touched them before. I'll never be a real fender fan, im always disappointed when I see them in the flesh, so I've been hanging on since these were reintroduced and it's been worth the wait.

This is the kind of stuff you should not tell me.
I have 2 ASATs one being semi hollow and an L1500. I recently strayed from G&L for a Sandberg Jazz bass (which is phenomenal) but always wondered about the LB100.

If only the money tree existed....

Very nice indeed.
That exact bass was on my shopping list from GBBL but I have to sell my DB before I can buy anything.
Congratulations on a lovely bass

Thank you

If you don't mind I'll use this as the proof I needed as to why I needed to buy it immediately! Apparently it was the last new one in the country. I'll try and do it justice. SB2 was tempting but I wanted to go hardcore, one pickup only.
