Saved
Hi. Since i am asked a few times about my 40" scale bass,i decide to open a thread for any bass biger than 35" scale. Well, here is my. The specs are Neck:maple/wenge 5 pieces Body:maple/ash combination Top:ambura Fretboard:wenge Pickups: Neck pickup:Dimarzio DP-145,series/parallel,in/out of phase, tone control with push/pull for Hi-cut filter Midle pickup:,Dimarzio DP-127 straight to the output jack Electronics:passive, stereo out. Tuning:F#,B,E,A with Newtone-strings,custom set Misc:Bolt-on,with the neck going under the neck pickup and reaching the midle pickup. Double action truss-rod,2 carbon rods. In the pics,i have not finished with the control cavity cover, and the to knob isn't there. It also is tuned G#,F#,B,E with kalium strings.AS you can see,the DIY look isn;t missing, and i like the way it looks, with not perfect shape and curves. PS i have limited image upload.Couldnt upload more than this one pic.If a moderator will allow me to upload more and biger pics with the bass and the building progress,it would be greate Edited March 8, 2017 by Saved
blablas
Do these qualify? The longest string is 36". Both are DIY builds.

[/quote] That singlecut is beautiful! My old Dingwall had a 37" B (my current two only have 35" ones) Edited March 8, 2017 by therealting
