discreet
It's a bargain - the 4-string version is £18,000.
Downdown
I wonder how much he bought it for?
TheGreek
At least there are no outlandish claims with this. Anybody stupid enough to buy this only has themselves to blame. Afterthought: who only needs two strings?
grandad
I'm sticking 2 fingers up to that one.

BigRedX
And Stig Petersen from DAD
Hellzero
Stig Petersen only needs one string, it's even better as it will only cost 4,5 K. ;-)
Happy Jack
It looks like a pretty obvious piss-take to me. I particularly like the B&Q steel reinforcement being used as a tailpiece.
FinnDave
At least two zeros too many in that asking price
Guest MoJo
Thankfully, it's extremely rare
lucky
Never ask never get... but also asking 9k too much probably never gets either. Free postage though, that makes it a steal Edited March 12, 2017 by lucky

kodiakblair
It's a Connolly-2 Punk bass from Krappy Guitars. 8th down right hand side. http://www.krappyguitars.com/punkbass.html Krappy is even cheaper than Wishbass. $95 for a one string fretless
Grangur
Why would you want a 2 string bass? It's far better to have 4, so you can have 2 Es and 2 As in case you break a string.

fiatcoupe432
I ve asked him what so special about this instrument and what's the make/maker the year was build and the tuning;-) and here is his reply eBay New message from: duckfan222 (35Yellow Star) Good afternoon The guitar was designed initially for a musician who collected unique two-string instruments, and was hand-made by a craftsmen who specifically made two-guitars and basses. It was made in 2016 to the buyers specifications, and is tuned in E and A. And it would be impossible to find this bass guitar anywhere in any store. It's truly one of a kind. Thankyou for your interest. Reply YOU: Hi there , what s so special about this instrument? What is the year of birth? Make? what is the tuning? Is hard to find another one the same? regards Edited March 17, 2017 by fiatcoupe432

Hobbayne
I wonder how much the ebay fees would be for a nine grand buy it now?
kevbass
He declined my offer.... And I reckon he is lying
I went to him with the krappyguitars link and told him it cost $95 to build it, he then offered to sell it for 80 quid and has since pulled the auction. Given the picture he was using came straight from krappyguitars website he knew full well he was trying to rip someone off (not that he had any chance of selling it for 9 grand).
