ash Posted March 12, 2017 Share Posted March 12, 2017 (edited) Yamaha BBVIIs this is a Made in Japan model from the 80's and is passive with PJ type pickups vol/vol/tone. The bass has had a few mods and repairs over the years - these include a new tone pot, Schaller 3D bridge, new speed type knobs and new strap buttons. The bass has a medium scale 32" and a very fast playable neck. Typical MIJ Yamaha build quality with great balance. It weighs 3.8kgs so perfect for people with bad backs! When I got it it was covered in stickers and glued on pictures which I've removed but there are lots of cosmetic marks, glue residue and faded patches on the bass. It's scruffy but not trashed and there are certainly no structural issues. A great little MIJ bass for not much cash. Sorry no case or bag with this one. Sorry no trades.
