Steelyad
Hey bass brethren. I've recently upgraded my studio setup to include 5 iPads as touch-screen devices for Logic and Reaper. Excessive?..........yes. So? I made a video about it. Check it out! It's actually quite simple, not that expensive, and useful having all the faders at your fingers, just like the old days but with plugins, and editing and all that jazz! lowdown
Yes, certainly the way to go and really does make workflows a breeze. Although our Studio is just for Composing media cues, we found the TouchOSC fantastic for midi work (Cubase) Especially for templates for various sample library articulations and controlling CC#'s. Just got a second iPad Air for this. Early days, but it really seems to be the business. http://metasystem.io I use it for Cubase 9 and Studio One. I believe it is also for Logic Pro and Digital Performer. http://metasystem.io/video/video.html Edited March 14, 2017 by lowdown
JapanAxe
Hi Adam, and welcome to Basschat. It was thanks to your earlier YouTube video that I got to use TouchOSC on my iPad to control Reaper. The only issue that I have is that other devices in the household sometimes steal the device IP addresses and I have to go into TouchOSC and Reaper settings to get them talking to each other again!
