Ideally looking to trade my DG VU for a DG Vintage Deluxe with and "era" control or a Pike Vulcan XL and £100 my way.

Just for simplicity bud? The two mids controls on the new Vintage Deluxe and the Ultra replicate the Era control, plus add a lot more of course.

I just think it sounded warmer/better. I've had both Deluxe versions and this Ultra and the original was the best. Although I must say the Pike Vulcan I had for a short while was awesome.
