Doc B Posted October 23, 2008 Posted October 23, 2008 One for the MK fans: Just been listening to the George Lamb show on 6 Music and they had MK on the phone for a chat and some jokes about slap bass. As well as being a bass-playing god MK is a very funny guy. Quote

SJA Posted October 23, 2008 Posted October 23, 2008 was George Lamb as cretinous as he was in the ray davies "interview"?- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fx5oGJD0QdE Quote
Thunderthumbs Posted October 23, 2008 Posted October 23, 2008 Just listened to the phone interview with MK on iPlayer. Made me laugh when MK came back with a "donkey years" old non-sensical answer to one of George's questions.....and he just didn't get it. George: "What's the difference between a dog and a cat?" MK: "One leg's both the same" George: " [confused silence] " Quote
jhk Posted October 23, 2008 Posted October 23, 2008 just watched clip .......................... brilliant!!!! Quote
Floyd Pepper Posted October 23, 2008 Posted October 23, 2008 Just got back from seeing Mr. King tonight and I know he gets some stick from some quarters here but I thought that he was absolutely on it tonight. Looked like he had got some of the enthusiasm back and produced some very funky bass lines. Cheers, FP Quote

Saw him last time he played here (I won tickets from the local rag) We sat just behind the mixing desk and couldn't hear a note - way too mushy, and couldn't seen any thing he did 'cos of being blinded by the front of fretboard lights ... The Sony Award has gone to his head. Quote
