Limited Edition non export FSR Fender JB75 P/J..
There is a fair bit of info on the web about the FSR Ltd Edition Old Candy Apple Red P/J, as there were 78 made available.
At the same time, there were a few white and sunburst released.
GAK and Andertons showed one of each in stock, early 2014.
There are quite a few references to "hand crafted in Japan" for these '75s. A few bits on T*** B*** and indeed Basschat, but this series is rare anywhere outside of Japan.

So, selected light alder (9lb 3oz) Fender JAPAN , Factory Special Run, '75 reissue Limited Edition Jazz with factory fitted Precision/Jazz pick ups.

Apologies for photos, not stopped raining since last Thursday and the light is all over inside.
3 little dints/scrape on bottom, one dint on back, Can be seen in photos (although it makes one dint look worse than it is).

Please bear in mind used Japan Millers are going for at least the value I put on this. There is also a 90's Non Export Japan 75 on FEEBay at £1150.
This bass is beautifully put together/finished.
At the time, they were £1149 with gigbag, but sold at just over £1000 (2013).
Cheers,
Karl.

EDIT, end of the headstock is fine, it's the "fur??" lining from the hard case :P

Sorry, I can't really answer that as there are so many variables.
What I would say is I usually drive it off the P pup, and it sounds like a smooth P with tone rolled off.
There is a link to a GAK demo in the 1st post.
I also came across this review by our very own Geofio

Ooooo, rather nice. I must admit, I do prefer a P/J pickup arrangement these days.
Sorry to ask the rather obvious questions karlfer - but what's the nut width
and what's the weight of the bass?

Cheers
Marc

5 Fleas up for sale, none of the owners interested in this.
Several people thinking about this bass.

Rare I say this kind of thing but it really is as well made as at least two of the CS's I've had the privilege of owning.
Withdrawn.
