Dandelion
The best value bass ever.. I have one, it has the lowest action of any bass I have ever owned. The market value of these things is beyond ridiculous... I would never sell mine while they are fetching this sort of cash.
BigRedX
Cheap because it's collection in person only.
Happy Jack
Hmmmmm ... £150 is not to be sneezed at, but

those knobs aren't original
that brass nut is not original
it looks like a very poor refin to me (rattle can job?)
the one thing I never rated the SGC Nanyo for was the low B
Caveat emptor. I'd want to have a very close look at that and play it for a while before making a decision. TheGreek
It is in London, perhaps you can go a test it and give us a review?
Happy Jack
Rather oddly, he's just re-listed it but with a new price of £145. Damfino. He's in Tufnell Park, not a million miles from me but I'm swamped at the moment - no time for this.
Shabbs
I would say the brass nut is original, was on the two 5's I had but has been butchered a bit.
Happy Jack
Interesting. My 1988 SB315 had the usual black plastic jobbie, and I didn't think any major manufacturer ever fitted brass nuts as standard ... maybe Alembic? Perhaps the more upmarket SGC Nanyo 5's had them? Dandelion
My Tune bass maniac has a brass nut, my Sanyo has not.

Sibob
Yeah my two SB355s (the soapbar 5 strings) both had brass nuts as standard/from new. Si
Happy Jack
Beginning to think I'm right - this is to do with the quality of the bass. Mine was a 315, i.e. the 5-string version of the 310 which was the entry-level active bass.
