Not had a lot of time to play it this week, but i can honestly say i had had no ‘i wish it....” moments, its the most complete bass ive ever owned. Ive struggled to take any phots that make it look interesting, its hard to photograph at home and, well, we all know what it looks like. Still, a few to prove i have it lol. The engineer was remarking on how modern it sounded and it wasn't until I heard the first track played back that I understood what he meant. Even just using the P, it had a less vintage quality to it than I thought. I played a track with an old Tokai P with cruddy dead strings which sounded more old school. I was tempted but don't really need it and the hardware was quite tarnished. At £120 it was fairly priced, £250 is a tad unrealistic. There you go - exactly what I was thinking! I thought an anodized guard would look nice and classy, but it might be tricky to get one made...
