STOP!!!

I've tried fretless many times and never mastered it...when I read threads like this I'm tempted to try again...I HATE YOU ALL!!!

Lol! I've always been the same, not patient enough to put the time in with fretless, so always ended up selling them. I am having very large fretless Gas at the moment though.

In which case, Lee, you should seriously consider the Ibby SR Portamento... 😁

I'd love to Bas,unfortunately my budget doesn't run to that at the moment, I'd love to try the Ibanez SRH500F too.

I just ordered gold hardware for my candy apple red BB1000MA. I think it will look orgasmic 😛

So exactly how does "orgasmic" look then? Just asking for a friend...and they are particularly interested in whether it differs between the UK and Germany?

😁

My BBP  presents a white “dust” (I don’t know how to describe) surrounding the frets, As you can see.

From the pics I’ve seen on line it should be ok but better have a check.

what do you think? Tbh it’s not so pleasant to see

Possibly residual compound in the grain from a fret polish?

buy a cheap toothbrush and some mineral oil (or lemon oil) and apply liberally - then scrub gently with toothbrush and wipe away with a microfibre Cloth.

magic.

A friend of mine came round to see my new bass today. We decided the difference in character between my Dimarzioed-P and my 424 was well expressed by this pair of photos
