I use them - I love the feel - absolutely perfect compliance and smoothness.

They last me about 4/5 rehearsals.

till they die on you, or till you sell the bass?

£132 sold, including a hard case. Still a very decent price for a BB414, which I think it is. Although a long round trip to collect for many.

Bargain if you were local though.

It's a local bargain for local people. There's nothing for you here! 😄

Has anyone got one of these?

my repaired one has a rattle and I can’t deal with it as I mostly play acoustically at home…

Is it a Yamaha one. I may have one off an old BB 300 you can have. Need to have a look through my spares box

Ah. Shame - I have the same type in my draw - want to avoid any extra holes in the bass etc

A used BB 2004 - now that's a find!!

It’s on my watch list. I’ve made 2 offers - seller seems to want basically what they’ve put as starting bid…

which, let’s be Frank…is too much

New? Yeah about that.

Although I sold an ex demo one in a shop for about £500 (should’ve bought it…)

Used I think £500-£700 would be right.

if it was immaculate (which it isn’t) or the rarer black/burst/white) then fair enough.

it’s dinged all around the jack and has buckle rash on the belly contour…so it’s £600 maximum in my head.

I’ve already offered £650 and that’s been declined so…that’s me out, and still in the gear abstinence thread 😂

That makes sense given the research available on google. They are nice but yeah with all that character, its probably too much at £875. Your abstinence is working well ;D
