Ive had my P34 for a week now, and love it to bits. Not had a lot of time to play it this week, but i can honestly say i had had no ‘i wish it....” moments, its the most complete bass ive ever owned.

Ive struggled to take any phots that make it look interesting, its hard to photograph at home and, well, we all know what it looks like.

Still, a few to prove i have it lol.

I used my 1025 for it's first recording session today. The engineer was remarking on how modern it sounded and it wasn't until I heard the first track played back that I understood what he meant. Even just using the P,  it had a less vintage quality to it than I thought. I played a track with an old Tokai P with cruddy dead strings which sounded more old school. I still preferred the Yammy for playability and tone though.

The attitude standard is winning...think it’s beating the 414...🤨

How very dare you.

There's a red RBX760A in Shaftesbury for £250 which I happen to know was bought from a local charity shop for £120. I was tempted but don't really need it and the hardware was quite tarnished.

At £120 it was fairly priced, £250 is a tad unrealistic.

I do like that

Here it is together with my hand-built P. I’m really impressed that the BB compares the way it does. Getting one of these used is just silly value for money.

Looks great, @Danuman! I’d initially considered putting some Nordstrands in it; but to be honest mine is just getting a tort guard made, some new Elixirs on and then it will be perfect to leave as is.

There you go - exactly what I was thinking! I thought an anodized guard would look nice and classy, but it might be tricky to get one made...
