Interesting! Quite like having 5 tuning pegs all on one side too. Shame what it says about the neck though.

dunno if it's [i]that[/i] rare- I saw an Urge 5 string in the Bass Cellar in the 90's (when it actually was in the cellar)- I asked the sales guy if it was short/medium scale and he said no, long scale (duh...but then we all know what to expect from that shop).
IIRC it was JPJ pickups.

I disagree about the tuning pegs I think one on the other side looks awesome but each to there own.

For me [url="http://www.zikinf.com/_gfx/matos/dyn/large/fender-stu-hamm-urge-ii-bass.jpg"]this [/url]is the ultimate Urge (or Fender for that matter) I will have one, one day.

The Custom shop logo looks possibly a bit dodgy as if its been put over where a real serial has been sanded off. :)

I wonder what the B sounds like on a 32" scale. Not sure I'd like the half-inch action at the 12th fret.
