Limited Edition non export FSR Fender JB75 P/J..
There is a fair bit of info on the web about the FSR Ltd Edition Old Candy Apple Red P/J, as there were 78 made available.
At the same time, there were a few white and sunburst released.
There are quite a few references to "hand crafted in Japan" for these '75s. A few bits on T*** B*** and indeed Basschat, but this series is rare anywhere outside of Japan.

CAR demo, GAK, then Geofio

Evidence the 3TS and White existed

So, selected light alder (9lb 3oz) Fender JAPAN , Factory Special Run, '75 reissue Limited Edition Jazz with factory fitted Precision/Jazz pick ups.
3 little dints/scrape on bottom, one dint on back, Can be seen in photos (although it makes one dint look worse than it is).

Please bear in mind used Japan Millers are going for at least the value I put on this. There is also a 90's Non Export Japan 75 on FEEBay at £1150.
This bass is beautifully put together/finished. Some weird reflections on photo no.6
At the time, they were £1149 with gigbag, but sold at just over £1000 (2013).

SORRY, NO TRADES, UK SALE ONLY, good conditioned but not great quality gigbag included. Extra £25 UK insured courier.
Many thanks for looking.
Cheers,
Karl.

I can attest to how good these are as I now own the one shown on Geofio's video, they are a cut above all others and your mad to sell it. I wouldn't let mine go for that money. Grab it before I buy another one.....

I tried one of these at Windows in Newcastle a couple of years ago. It was lovely. I might have bought this had this come up a couple of months ago as it satisfies so many desires: 70s Jazz styling and comfort, 60s position rear Jazz pickup and a Precision pickup! Still tempted to be honest.

I was wondering the same thing!
How close does it sound to a good ole P bass with the neck pickup solid? 😁

I'm thinking this would be killer with some flats.

I've had a long week, so which Precision would we like it to sound like?
Steve Harris?
James Jamerson?
JJ Burnell?

Right sarcasm done :D .
Distance from front of pup casing, E string, to neck.
American Special Precision 9.8cms
JB75PJ Factory Special Run 7.8cms

And yes, it sounds superb with flats. That's what it is currently sporting.

superb Jazz bass as you can hear in my video, superb tone from the off, the only thing i did was put a Badass ii bridge on and it was just spot on.
