DJ speakers work with a bass amp?

I'm waiting for a new TE Elf 200w head to come in. I appreciate that I'll be able to use my existing TE cabs but I'm also looking at lightweight DJ cabs like these for home use. They'll never be used at full volume.

They look EXTREMELY cheap and cheerful. £49.99 for a set of PA speakers? I recommend you have low expectations, to avoid disappointment.

I presume they're passive right?
TBH for the money they're worth a punt just for the hell of it!
