No, luckily all my basses are worth very little on the open market, so even when skint it would barely have been worth the effort.

I have a spare Warwick and live close but I am left handed. I assume it is not of any use.

I sold my beloved '74 Ripper in times of hardship and promised myself that situation wouldn't happen again but times are tough at the moment so I wish you well. Some of these basses ARE more than a piece of wood especially the old ones that have often have led very interesting lives and would have many a story to tell if they could!

I cant imagine how bad things need to be to sell the one and only bass left. I can only guess its that or no roof over your head type of situation. For me this would be such a desperate last option resort that I'd probably be in a very depressed state.
I'm sure a kiss and makeup can be on the cards regarding whats been said but in the mean time hope it all works out well in the end.
