fleabag Posted June 14, 2017 Posted June 14, 2017 As an ex drayman for the now defunct Morrells Brewery, Firkins were amongst the various barrels i delivered and hurled down the cellar ramps Hogsheads are 54 gallon beer barrels. ( ale ) These are not so common Barrel is 36 gallons ( ale ) Kil is 22 gallons ( usually lager ) Firkin 9 Gallons ( ale ) Pin ( 4.5 gallons ( ale ) Quote
