[color=#1D2129][font=Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif][font=inherit][font=inherit]I have deliberated long and hard over the decision to sell this bass and I'm still not sure that I'm doing the right thing and that I won't end up regretting my decision in the future. I've realised that I'm a passive four-string-bass type of guy, the simpler, the better. An instrument like this just gives me too many options, too much twiddlability[/font][/font][/font][/color]



[color=#1D2129][font=Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif][font=inherit][font=inherit]At the time I bought it, I was looking for a five string with more generous string spacing than the SR range's 16.5mm. The BTB is spaced 19mm at the bridge and feels more familiar when crossing over from a Fender-styled four string. The Nordstrand 'Big Single' pickups, coupled with the 3-band active EQ (which has a mid frequency selector switch and can be switched out too) can reproduce just about any bass tone a player could need. The 35" scale length means superb clarity in the lower registers. No floppy B string here. Super smooth Gotoh machine heads keep everything in tune and a Neutrik locking jack socket means you won't pull your lead out, accidentally, mid gig. Comes in the original Ibanez Premium hard case with owners handbook and multitool.[/font][/font][/font][/color]

Hi, I know it's not a passive bass, but would a 4 string spector be of any interest trade wise?
I'm willing to ad some cash to the trade to cover the difference.
