We have a gig coming up but we will be setting up on a sprung floor. Luckily we had a chance to use it as a practice room so got a chance to try it out. It sounds awful, the bass just becomes a mush, presumably because of movement in the floor.

Does anyone have any experience or tips to improve things at all?

I used to play in a few ballroom/dance halls with sprung floors, some had the bandstand built directly onto the sprung floor.

When the crowd started to dance, the spring reverb unit in my amp would crash and clang like crazy!

That's the sort of thing, tbh I hadn't thought of what will happen when 150-200 odd people are in there! Will be an interesting one........

we play a pub with the same problem, especially with the sub. We moved the sub off the wooden stage and placed it on the concrete/carpet one next to the stage, maybe something similar could be done with your cab? Don't know what your monitoring situation is like though.
