Giazonne Reyes
Hi all! Presented for your kind attention, my Fodera Yin Yang Standard: Gigged regularly, meticulously looked after and maintained. Straight neck, truss rod/bridge adjustment all in good order. No dings/nicks. As you can see, it's a Yin Yang Standard Series I, but without the painted YY symbol covering the flame maple top. So it's a "Naked" Yin-Yang. Details: Weight: c. 9lbs / 4kg Scale: 34" Bridge: 19mm 24 frets Nut: 1.53" Radius: 10" at nut to 18" at end of f/b, compound radius Body: Alder with Flame Maple top Neck: Maple Fingerboard: Ebony Bolt-on neck Hardware: Black, Hipshot D-tuner, brass nut, recessed straplocks Pickups: EMG P/J Electronics: Fodera/Pope standard preamp (3 band +/- Treble/Mid/Bass), Volume, Passive Tone control, Blend, Preamp bypass switch Mother of Pearl dots, Abalone butterfly, Natural satin finish Sound clips: I'll endeavour to post some clips of the bass in action asap. In the meantime, the popular website http://www.youtube.com has several representative clips of the YYS Series I, albeit not this particular one. I mean it's a P/J with EMGs, alder body, ebony board, and one of the most flexible preamps available, so that's what it sounds like. (Which is to say, bloody great!) Trades: Thank you, nope! EXCEPT: perhaps a 33" narrow 5 string if you happen to have one about. Price reflects no hardshell case (tho I will happily include your choice of Mono Sleeve or Vertigo gig bag should you wish). Of note, this particular bass is not presently available from Fodera outside of a custom build, and to order this combination of woods and pickups the cost would be substantial; perhaps somewhere close to £6k after import duty and fees. Priced to sell quickly to a serious buyer therefore, and available for you to try in Central or SE London by arrangement. Reason for sale: need a 5 string, saving for one, and it's one in-one out. I soooo wish I could hold on to this, but the bank account says otherwise. Payment: by electronic bank transfer please. PayPal is ok too, if you would kindly adjust the price to reflect the fee that PayPal charges (approx. £59). Delivery: I would suggest trial and collection in person. I'm also happy to hand-deliver to you within England/Scotland/Wales for a contribution to my petrol and upon confirmed receipt of cleared funds. If you absolutely must, or if you live overseas, I will ship with your choice of courier, again with an adjustment for the cost of shipping, and upon receipt of the funds. Happy to answer questions; feel free to PM. Many thanks for your time, and Best wishes! Edited April 18, 2017 by Giazonne Reyes
