It's a really cool bass - Delano MM and reversed-P pickups, Glockenklang preamp with active-passive push-pull on the volume pot, tinted neck and good old German craftsmanship. There's a control to blend the pickups, so it's capable of quite a range of sounds. Everything on it works perfectly, and it's in good condition for its age. Nothing much to report on the front, except the 'Delano' lettering on the pickups has worn away. There are a couple of scuffs and scratches on the back - I've tried to take pictures of them. Bathroom scale method suggests it's 4.3kg, but it feels lighter to me. I'm after [s]£750ono[/s] £700 collected, or £720 posted. I'm mostly selling this because I'm moving house, and the cash/space would be useful. I've spotted something I'd love to take a punt on in the for sale section here, so I'm really after cash. However, if you've got something to trade let me know, worst I can say is no! Ultimately I'd need a decent amount of money my way though, moving's really expensive. I've finally figured out postage! I don't have a hard case for it, but it'll come in a padded gigbag (which I forgot I had) and packed securely in a cardboard box. Also happy to take the neck off for easier shipping if you're happy to re-attach upon receiving it. I'm based in Southampton, but can travel to meet. And now for the good stuff - as it turns out, surf green is a pretty hard colour to photograph. dmccombe7 Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Nice. Tried one in Glasgow couple months ago and they have a "big" sound. Very full, very clear and so easy to play. Problem was the shop only had reliced basses and i hate them. That is really nice and i ended up with Precision Deluxe in similar colour. If i had seen this bass i would have jumped at it for that money. GLWTS Dave
