Big Uli
What type of foot switch would I need for my Laney G150? Also could I make my own? All I know is that the foot switch operates the 2 pre shapes and the EQ on the amp
markstuk
According to the manual it's a Laney fs2 which is freely available..
Osiris
If you're looking for something other than a generic black box, have a look at what Arachnid audio have to offer. According to the online blurb, the Laney FS2 uses a stereo jack connection, so something like this ought to meet your requirements. You have choices of the pedal size, colour and with or without LED's too. It looks like the Laney comes with its own (possibly integral?) cable but you'd need a separate stereo cable if you were to go with an Arachnid. I recently bought one of the Arachnid single channel footswitches and I can't fault it, it's got its own unique look, it's really well made and for the price it wasn't worth even considering warming up my own soldering iron.
