Shipping a bass to boston

I have an old pedulla mvp in desperate need of refinishing i would like to ship to pedulla in boston from uk anybody recommended? And how much there and back ?

I'd use someone in the UK. Who does Shuker, ACG, Sei, Wal and Overwater use?

I believe Martin Simms is in Kent and has a very good reputation.

Yes it does have rosewood board but i didnt think old rosewood is a problem with new regs am i wrong ?

Thx guys had thought of simms the thing with pedulla is the headstock logo is sprayed on before lacquer i don't know if this could be copied

Age doesn't matter - if you don't have the correct certificate for export and import it could be impounded.

You can ship in Europe whilst we're still an EU country but anywhere else could have problems.

You'd also need to get import and export stuff sorted so that you don't pay U.K. import duties and VAT when it comes back.

I'd definitely get it sorted here. Plenty of good people out there

Thx i hadn't realised that it was that strick surely its old and can be dated by the serial no?

It's a blanket application of the rules and age doesn't come into it.

Sorry, couldn't resist. Now with my more useful hat on, I'd have thought opening up a dialogue with Pedulla and a reputable UK luthier you would be able to get hold of a headstock decal.
