Ampeg SVT4 Pro Reliability query

Are Ampeg amps as reliable as i originally thought they were.?

My Ampeg is booked in for repair next week. Nothing from pre-amp but power amp working. Tried all the usual jack socket tests and no joy.
Had the amp 2 years and not really had any issues before. Its a 2nd hand US 1993 era which i had the mains transformer changed from 110V to 230V.

Just curious. ?
