An experiment; listen first, read about it afterwards, please..?

Listened to it - found it a tad irritating to be honest LOL, mainly because it never offered me a 'pay off' or a resolution - before I looked at your explanation I'd have guessed it had either been created through some structured 'chance' process (rolling a dice then doing something based on the score) or it had reversed note sequences based on motifs you'd created previously. Bet it took you a while to get it all put together anyway!

Yes, that's one of the 'downsides' to playing 'open-ended' funky stuff that could (and sometimes does..!) go on all night. It's basically just riffing over E minor; I could pop a 'finishing off' couple of bars, I suppose. It doesn't 'go anywhere', I'll agree. That's what I'll find in next week's lesson, maybe..? Took a while..? Not really; just two evening of nowt on 'telly, as usual. Into the small hours, just the same, on both nights.
Many thanks for listening, and doubly so for commenting; much appreciated. Apologies for the irritation suffered. Calamine lotion may help to reduce the urge to scratch..?

Very well constructed - would not have worked out the secret. Sorry, despite it being both clever and artistically sound I didn't enjoy it at all :(

Sorry about that. I'm not blessed with good taste, so can't really judge whether stuff will please or not, although I do try, honest..! :(
Thanks for commenting, of course.

Fair play, was a wonderful imitation of poor Jazz - that's a compliment if you know what I mean? Shame the drums weren't as real and live as the other samples. You need to get on the kit ;)

Cheers, and I'll take almost anything as a compliment, these days..! As for sitting behind the kit: would that I could..! Ops to be programmed for next month, then we'll see, but I'm now quite rusty. Not that that'll show...
Thanks for the comments, compliment or not. B)

I haven't listened to it, or read the comments about it, but I just wanted to say how wonderful it was.

:) ;)

Hey, I don't like Stockhausen or the Doors, and some of the stuff I do like, well... So nothing to do with your good taste :)
