I'm having to move on some stuff from the studio as, despite what I was told when I had it built, the laws of physics do still apply, and apparently I can't fit more gear inside that there is space in which to fit it. So, we're starting a project soon that will require more space and more - if smaller and more specialised - gear, hence I need this gone sharpish.

This is a glorious amp, rich creamy tone and loud as f**k. This unit personifies the 'old watts are better than new watts' idea. OK, it ain't pretty, but then neither am I (or is my bass playing) so we got along just fine (having said that it's in very very good cosmetic and functional condition). The price is ludicrous for such a good amp and around £150 less than I paid. Put this alongside a B-15 and you really won't notice a whole lot of difference. I'll be sorry to see it go but not it gone sharpish (and collected from Canterbury), hence the price.

I've had a few questions re volume. To my ear it's loud. It holds it own against the type of guitarists and drummers I tend to gig with, and in small venues (pubs). It's certainly not a bedroom/living room combo; even at lowest volume it still kicks out some dBs (whilst it looks quite small in the pics, it's got a pretty big frontal area around the 15" speaker). In short, it's totally giggable, and goes VERY loud for a 25w combo, but is not an SVT.

This looks to be in amazing condition for its age. I love these - I've just almost no use for it at all and the rational bit of me (the bit that I work hard, and frequently successfully, to suppress) is remaining firm...for now. Incredible price too in my opinion

Indeed they are. There's no difference at all in the circuit other than a driver change from the guitar version.

I had one of these a mk2 version which was basically the same bar for cosmetics. And I loved it for recording certain things. They have a great valve tone and response.
