julesb
I've persuaded (forced 😄) one of the bands I'm in to do this. Great song and a great band.
KevB
The whole Leftoverture album is excellent - Miracles out of Nowhere, Cheyenne Anthem etc. Great stuff. Steve Walsh sure had some pipes on him back in the day.
spectoremg
Hi Bubinga - more Steve Hackett trivia on one of your posts! His '78 album Please Don't Touch featured Phil Ehart and Steve Walsh. Check out Racing in A with Steve's excellent vocals.
visog
Agreed with all of above. I'd add the production was excellent too - punchy and clear.

dmccombe7
Bought the Kansas box set few yrs back. Awesome band. So many talented musicians in the original band. Over the years i've done COMWS and Portrait (He Knew) Great to play and both went down a storm altho COMWS was the fav and i played it with a fretless precision back in early 80's. Bbiigg Kev
Quality live band !!!
fretlessguy
They are America's premier prog band. I first heard COMWS while driving around town. I nearly drove off of the road. Collected all my coins and went to buy it the next day. Kansas is still a band and recently released a new CD, The Prelude implicit. It's quite good. Thanks for bringing back great memories with the post, bubinga5.
Cosmo Valdemar
Of course if we're being pedantic it's actually COWS. 😁 Kansas - awesome band. Dave Hope's one of my favourite players ever, fantastic tone.
HazBeen
Just spotted this: http://www.blabbermouth.net/news/kansas-cancels-european-tour-due-to-safety-and-security-concerns/ Based on this: https://travel.state.gov/content/passports/en/alertswarnings/Europe.html They may be a quality band, but they are a bunch of whimps in my book. But they did make me giggle, especially since the POTUS recentle spent time here.
